There was much to celebrate in Junior Assembly on Friday 25th February. Charlie showed us how his engine worked with help from Roisin in Year 2. In addition, Josh showed his beautiful artistic work and we had Natascha and Austin showing their African masks. Others had dressed up to show their support for Wilfreda and Rita in Kisumu as part of our Charity Day – even Mr Boyer thought he was chief for the day!
During assembly we sang ‘We are marching in the light of God’ again, but this time we sang it in its original African language (actually Zulu): ‘Si’ya hamba n’kuk nyen wen kos.’ A great time was had by all, whilst raising money for a very special cause.
