After a successful first day of Pancake Week, things did not go quite so well on Tuesday for the Year 7 and 8 chapel service! Another group of masterchefs had come to help – Tom, Freddy, Ben, Mason, Adam and Alex – but unfortunately the cooking equipment got a bit hot, resulting in some unexpected flames and we had to abandon our attempt. No one was harmed in the demonstration thanks to Mr Jackson’s cool reactions. As a result, Revd Lees did an extra pancake session in S18 at lunchtime for the Year 7 team who finally got to cook their pancakes without things getting too hot to handle!
