More Success For Silcoates Cricket

Our cricketers enjoyed a competitive set of fixtures against Hymers College on Saturday 26th May, winning three and losing two of the five matches. Highlights included an unbeaten stand of 261 between Will Fraine (134 not out) and Charlie Mitchell (92 not out) in the 1st XI match, after which Liam Hyde (Year 9) took five wickets on his first team debut to restrict Hymers to 167-8 and record a fourth successive win for the side.  The U15s and the U12s also won, with Alistair Parry taking seven wickets for the U12s in their nine wicket win.

The pictures show the U14s batting in one of the home matches.  Although they lost their match there were still some impressive performances, not least from Matt Ingram with the bat.
