Congratulations to Mrs Kath Thackray and her daughter Megan (Year 8) on successfully completing the Race for Life yesterday at Thornes Park. Over 2,000 women and children took part, including (we understand) several other Silcoates families. Kath and Megan completed the 5k run in 33 minutes and they are on target to raise £200 for cancer research.
