It was a typical British event in so many ways, i.e. poor weather spoiled the initial plans, but plenty of pluck and determination turned potential disaster into triumph. This time it was the Junior School’s Jubilee Picnic Lunch, which had to be moved from the playground to the Dining Hall. However, the bunting was put up, pictures of the Queen abounded, the costumes were superb and thanks to the efforts of the PA and the staff a great time was had by all. The eagle-eyed among you may even see an important visitor in one of the pictures!
