Year 3 had a fantastic trip to Sandal Castle recently. The children were taken on a guided tour of the ruins and they then had the opportunity to re-enact The Battle of Wakefield. They had a fantastic time and learned lots from this ‘hands-on’ experience, as you can see from the pictures of them in their roles. The children behaved really well and were a credit to the school on this excellent day out.
