Sponsorship
We continue to enjoy the mutual benefits of corporate sponsorship and work hard to match the needs of our business partners with those of the school. We have already enjoyed excellent partnerships with, for example, Handelsbanken, Blacker Hall Farm Shop, Townsend Jewellers, Huddersfield Town AFC and Dix Vogan.
Sponsorship opportunities that will raise your profile throughout the school and its wider family include:
§ Bursaries and scholarships
§ Developments such as the all-weather pitch and the Junior School redevelopment
§ Events both at Silcoates and across the country
§ Classroom sponsorship.
§ Sports kit
A Gift in your Will
Please consider making a gift to Silcoates in your will. If you are reading this, you are probably one of the thousands of people to whom Silcoates has given an excellent start in life through the quality of our teaching and the facilities we offer. Leaving a gift in your will gives you an opportunity to help us provide a Silcoates education for future generations.
For a copy of our booklet “Building on the past … providing for the future”, please contact us.
Thank you for considering this important donation to Silcoates School. We hold an annual Legacy Lunch to offer our sincere thanks to those like you who have pledged – or are considering – a gift in your will. After all, we could not do it without you!
Donations In Kind
Parents, alumni and friends have contacted us on many occasions to discuss how they can help by donating things other than money. Examples have included items to sell or auction, gifts of shares, materials or services that would be useful.
Please contact the Development Office if you have a proposal for a gift in kind.

Gift Aid
If you are a UK tax payer, gift aid is a simple scheme that enables us to claim an additional 25p from every £1 donated by a UK taxpayer. All you need to do is give the school authority to reclaim the tax and we’ll do the rest.
For example, a gift of £100 is worth a total of £125*  with the additional gift aid.
A higher rate tax payer may also claim a personal benefit of £25* from a £100 donation.
*Please consult your tax advisor to discuss your personal situation; however, these figures are based on the current income tax rates.

Regular Standing Order
There are two simple ways to set up a regular donation to support Silcoates. Either method gives you the option to allow us to reclaim gift aid on your donation:
1.   A standing order instructs your bank to transfer a given amount to the school at regular intervals determined by you. You may chose to fix the time period of your donations (perhaps to spread the cost of an amount you wish to donate) or have an on-going donation, which you may cancel at any time.
2.   You can download the ‘Standing Order & Gift Aid form’ by following the link below:

We currently receive regular donations from £5 to £200 and are grateful for every one of these.
Please contact us if you would like to explore any of these avenues further.
Thank you for supporting Silcoates School.
