This was a superb set of results for our hockey teams against The Mount School in York.
Our U12 team played a player short in their game and yet still dominated possession in a controlled display. Credit must go to a Mount team though, many of whom were only playing in only their second game of hockey.
The U13s cruised to a 3-0 victory despite missing two of their key players.
Our U14s probably had the toughest test against a strong side who pushed them right to the limit, but two Lily Miles goals ultimately proved to be the difference between the two sides.
In the U15 game, although the return of Rachel Dent helped the team to a comprehensive 6-1 win, the improved commitment to training by the squad has probably been the most decisive factor.
Finally, despite the 2nd XI losing 1-0, they played superbly well and probably deserved more. Their effort levels and willingness to play to a system maybe even warranted a victory.
