The first service of the new academic year was a very special one on Sunday 27th September.
For this morning’s chapel service with the 6th Form, a small group of musicians came together to play Beethoven’s ‘Ode to Joy’.
As part of the Junior School’s celebrations of the European Day of Languages, Class 6C presented a class assembly on the theme. Invited parents and the whole Junior School enjoyed taking part in a special ‘Who Wants To Be A Euro Millionaire?’ and renditions of ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ – complete with actions – in English, French and Dutch!
Since the start of term the Lower Sixth students have had two visiting speakers during their enrichment classes.
The first Bookworms of the new school year met on Friday evening and was, unusually, an all-girl affair.
