Old Silcoatians’ Day

We are delighted to welcome our Old Silcoatians back to the School for the much-anticipated annual Old Silcoatians’ Day on Saturday 11 May 2024

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or a spirited spectator, there’s something for everyone. The day promises a perfect blend of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and nostalgia as you reconnect with old friends and create new memories.

Fixtures: A number of fixtures will take place throughout the day for those who wish to get involved – Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Tag Rugby, Tennis. We are also thrilled to be welcoming back former PE teacher,  Amy Knowles, as a guest Netball umpire.

Celebratory Lunch: Join us for a celebratory buffet lunch at £25.00 per person, immediately following the fixtures. It’s an excellent opportunity to share stories, relive the glory days, and enjoy the company of fellow Old Silcoatians.

Phoenix Cup: This year’s event will also mark the inaugural presentation of the prestigious Phoenix Cup, which will be awarded to the overall winners of the day’s competitions: Old Silcoatians vs. Current Silcoatians.

Spectators Welcome: Even if you’re not hitting the field, we encourage you to join as a spectator. Cheer for the teams, catch up with old acquaintances, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Family members are also welcome to come along and enjoy the day with you.

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available throughout the day, ensuring you stay energised and hydrated as you relive the spirit of School sports.
